What sets us apart is that we don’t just represent our wine growers in the way many ‘wine agents’ do. We work hard with them and their business model to ensure that their wines are as marketable as possible. This means we can make these wines available to a wider and more discerning audience than would have otherwise been the case. We manage the relationship between the buyer and seller too, ensuring long-term associations are created and nurtured.
Stephen Cronk – Managing Director
I’ve always been passionate about wine and on leaving university in 1985 I started working for a London based wine importer. Since then I’ve worked in several sales and marketing roles in the wine trade and also in the communications industry, where I was responsible for managing strategic relationships with a variety of international blue chip clients. I set up VertuVin in 2009 with Tom and have since moved permanently to France with my wife and three children.
Tom Warner – Director
I was educated in both England and France and have been in the wine business since 1984, during which time I successfully developed international markets for French wine producers. I’m the International Commercial Director for a privately owned estate with vineyards in the South of France and in Chile and am responsible for sales in 17 countries.
