Our Services

For Producers

We act as a professional Sales and Marketing organisation on behalf of independent premium wine producers in key markets such as North America, Europe and Asia.

One service we offer wine producers is taking over all sales responsibilities and acting on their behalf. VertuVin provides all the benefits of a professional sales team, taking out the expense and red tape of employing people directly.

We have a flexible payment profile depending on your requirements and we would be very happy to have an introductory conversation about this with you.

At VertuVin, we fully manage the relationships with wine buyers, importers, distributors and agents. Services include:

  1. Attending sales meetings with clients
  2. Providing structured feedback from the markets
  3. Managing sample distribution for prospective and existing customers
  4. Production of background information on the producers and their wines
  5. Attending wine trade fairs as agreed
  6. Proactive communication with prospective and existing customers
  7. Arranging visits by clients to our producers' vineyards

For wine buyers, importers and distributors

Keeping on top of suppliers is a full-time job in itself and we know that you are already busy people faced with pressures of providing a broad selection of wines at good prices and with significant promotional budgets. And then you may also have pressure to reduce your inventories and the number of your suppliers.

We understand your issues and constraints and the need for your suppliers to provide an excellent service in all areas, including getting the basics right - such as information on websites being up-to-date, tasting submission deadlines met, labeling accuracy and having reserves monitored.

We aim to work with you as an extension of your own department and we can even conduct wine searches for you in certain regions.

Additionally, we will work on stimulating demand for our wines by gaining recognition, awards and publicity for them whenever and wherever possible. We can also help write Press Releases if required.

Wine Awards

Decanter Magazine highly rated Stéphane’s J. Boutin Hermitage 2006, describing it as "pure blackcurrant nose and the same on the palate. Very youthful, focused, pure. Will develop very well. Big, generous finish. Drink from 2012". 16.6 points. Highly recommended.
Jancis Robinson really rates James Kinglake's AOC Limoux L'Etoile de Begude from the high altitude (350m) vineyards in southwest Languedoc as "a particularly fine, refreshing Chardonnay. The Kinglakes are making some very fine special bottlings such as L'Étoile, which is a bargain alternative to Chassagne..."
Château La Mascaronne Rosé 2008 Côtes de Provence "very good balance, elegant, with some weight. Very well made and very well judged. Good finish." Recommended
Only two St Joseph wines have received the top 2 star rating in the 2010 Guide Hachette and Stéphane Vedeau’s J. Boutin St Joseph "Parcelle de Jean" 2006 is one of them. "A complex aromatic palette with tapenade, morello cherry and stewed red fruit overtones, a good balance with a nice broadness and complexity from the barrel aging. This bottle is perfect now but will develop even more with time".
Château La Mascaronne Rosé 2008 Côtes de Provence "is a blend of Cinsault and Grenache Blanc and has a vivid pink with a dusty tomato nose. The fruit is much more rounded in the mouth - almost plumy. 13.5%". Score 15/20 Points
"An exciting new producer, Verus, a triumvirate of particularly ambitious young winemaking friends, has produced a range of thrillingly pure white wine varietals in a handsome screwcapped bottle. I can recommend all of them as beautifully made, precise varietal expressions, and have chosen the steely, firm Furmint as the wine that stood out for me"
