Our Wines
Tierra Cruz
Laurence Real, the French winemaker who moved to Chile in 1995, took an active role in planting most of the 160ha of vines (35 of which are in Apalta) that are today the TIERRA CRUZ varietals. The vines have matured to yield some of the best wines of the region. The incredible results are achieved thanks to the plot selection for each varietal, enhancing the grapes typicity that consumers have grown to expect from this region. There are two ranges available, the un-oaked ‘Varietal’ range and the ‘Reserva’ range, which are aged using French Oak.
Domaine Begude
Domaine Begude is a 25 hectare family owned historic estate set high in the foothills if the Pyrenees in the Limoux region of the Languedoc. The vineyard was established in the late 16th century and due to its great terroir has always enjoyed an excellent reputation for success.
Domaine Sainte Rose
Domaine Sainte Rose is situated just outside the village of Servian, midway between Béziers and Pézenas. The 33 hectares of vineyards spread from the clay/limestone soils found along the banks of the River Thongue up onto the gravelly schist soils of the plateau.
Les Vignes D'Oc
The wines are produced in high altitude vineyards in the Languedoc and combine a perfect balance between the ripeness gained in a Mediterranean climate and the acidity associated with a cooler climate. Les Vignes d'Oc produce interesting wines with typical characteristics of the Languedoc at low cost.
Maison Mayol
Champions of the terroir, Maison Mayol's focus is on improving the quality of Vin de Pays d'Oc. The wines are distributed in the Restaurant trade only and are the benchmark for VDP d'Oc for Sommeliers.
La Mascaronne
The gently sloping vineyards of La Mascaronne lie in the heart of Provence, just outside the medieval village of Le Luc, with château, cellar and vines enclosed by a sheltering forest of oak and pine. With low yields and hand harvesting into small containers, the 50ha of vines produce intense well- structured reds, pale yet substantial rosé and a small quantity of white - all within the Côtes de Provence appellation.
Château Miraval
Dating from pre-Roman times the estate is situated at an altitude of 350 meters extends to 400ha with 30ha devoted to vines. The vineyards flourish on the valley floor, protected by the surrounding forest of evergreen and white oak, and parasol, aleppo and maritime pine. Château Miraval has certified organic vineyards in the adjoining communes of Correns and Châteauvert.
Jeannine Boutin
The Jeannine Boutin label represents Stéphane Vedeau's wines from the Northern Rhône where he produces wines from the main appellations. Many of his Syrah vines are over 40 years old and his wines bear all the classic hallmarks of their appellations.
La Ferme Du Mont
Stéphane Vedeau's wines from the Southern Rhône have been received terrificly by several notable wine critics, including Jancis Robinson (19/20 for the Côtes Capelan Châteauneuf 2007) and Robert Parker (who gave the same wine 96 points). These wines are classic Vedeau wines, combining respect for the terroir and drinkability.
Étoile du Rhone
Étoile du Rhône is a new range of wines from award winning winemaker Stéphane Vedeau. The wines combine great typicity with a market focus and so this range is both authentic to the style of the Rhône and consumer focused at the same time. We have also tried to create a contemporary feel to the label, representing a modernity of style from one of the oldest wine regions in the world
Jacques and Gilles
Made by Hervé Sabardeill at Château de Jau, situated in the southernmost foothills of the Roussillon slopes, the estate spans the villages of Cases de Pêne, Estagel, and Tautavel, occupying 134 cultivated hectares planted in eleven classic Mediterranean varietals. This delicious range of Jaques and Gilles wines will resonate with everyone who remembers the old nursery rhyme “Jack & Jill went up the hill” and the wonderfully drawn characters will lead to a high level of consumer recognition and recall.
Black Oystercatcher
The maritime terroir of the peninsula provides cool laterite, sandstone and broken shale soils in conjunction with mild temperatures and a high light intensity during the ripening stages. These factors serve to engrave the grapes with intense berry flavors, low pH and high natural acidity, thereby producing exceptional wines of distinction.
Max and Saskia
Miles sources his grapes for Max in the Bottleray and Banhoek Valley areas of Stellenbosch. For Saskia he sources the Chenin Blanc from Stellenbosch and the Viognier from a vineyard on the southern slopes of the Paardeberg in Paarl. All vineyards are unirrigated and produce low yielding fruit (4 to 6 t/ha) giving a pure expression of its environment. The vines are planted at an altitude of 200m above sea level and are all over 20 years old. Production is very limited (Max 7,200 bottles and Saskie 4,500 bottles).
Porter Mill Station
This is a new range of very good and inexpensive wines from the Swartland WO. Porter Mill Cellars is nestled at the base of the majestic Olifants River Mountains. A naturally dry and hot growing season is moderated by cool and moist Atlantic coastal breezes. This estate has rich soils which infuse these wines with their unique character and flavour. All three reds have been aged in French Oak for 12 months.

Due to the situation of the Domaine beside the River Thongue, wine produced can be classified as either Vin de Pays d’Oc or Vin de Pays des Cotes de Thongue.
